All that I want for you my son, Is to be satisfied
I cannot even express how happy I am that Ben Ownby is home as well as Shawn Hornbeck. I never thought my prayers would be answered in such a way! Not only was I heartbroken over the kidnapping of Ben but Shawn Hornbeck's disappearence touched me as well. The two boys lived 45 miles away from each other but they now know more about each other than they would've ever thought. The whole thing has encirlced parts of my life in almost eerie ways.
My deep concern over Ben was daunting; the overwhelming sadness I felt devoured me. The thought and prayers I felt for him and his family filled my head constantly over the past four days.
Shawn's mother and stepfather were at a couple Thursday karaoke nights at Marty's a few years ago. The couple who hosted the karaoke were involved with the Shawn Hornbeck foundation and often volunteered their musical/singing talents to different fundraisers for the foundation.
Little did I know but no more than the a length of a football field away from my work, Shawn and Ben sat, kidnapped, taken from their families and endured who knows what for more than 4 years and four days, respectively. So close...
The Imo's pizza the guys at work order from every Friday is the same one that Michael Devlin the kidnapper worked at for 15 years.
Shawn and Ben are home with their family's. I am in complete awe at how wonderful things have turned out. I will continue to pray for Ben, Shawn and both of their families so they have the strength to heal from the pain and separation they've been through.
My last words are to the man upstairs. Thank you God. Thank you for giving those two Moms their sons back. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

I read about this in USA Today in the airport on my way back to STL and couldn't believe it. It's amazing. I just hope those boys (especially Shawn) can move on from this.
