You're the light in my deepest darkest hour
I'm so happy to see the sun again! I cannot wait until winter is over but unfortunately it hasn't even technically began. I am not a winter kind of person. Winter is so dreary and blah. The trees don't have leaves, the grass is brown and you can go days without seeing the sun...how can people like this season? Except for hoodies and Christmas...I could live without it.
Tomorrow they're calling for snow so it looks like I picked a good day to stay inside and make christmas cookies. I'm making four different kinds and I will give most of them out to various people as gifts.
Two weeks from today I'll be rolling through the border of the sunshine state. We're driving this year and I'm not looking forward to the 12 hour drive but I'll deal with it. There's eight of us driving in two trucks so at least it won't be continuous driving. My Mom and Dad have already been basking in 70 to 80 degree weather so I'm sure they'll have a nice tan by the time we get there. I'm so jealous! But hopefully one day I'll get to spend my whole winter in Florida too!!
Amber is almost halfway through her freshman year and is doing very well. I'm so darn proud of her! I'm lucky that not only only did I have a healthy child but a good one too. We've been spending tons of time together and I'm so glad she likes to be around me (most of the time) because I love to spend time with her. She is my favorite person in the whole world!
So that wraps up my update...kinda boring but sometimes boring isn't bad.

at 12/17/2007 9:36:10 AM- My sister, my brother-in-law, my nephew, my brother-in-law's parents and Amber is bringing a friend.
I talked to my parents last night and they said it has cooled down...to 60 degrees! I'd much rather it be 60 than 20 degrees with snow.

Those are the only things I like too - hoodies and Christmas. And ONE good snow. But just one! :)
